Beach and Swimming
Nearest beach which is very good, is in St. Rafael/Frejus - south-east of Callas. It is easy to find a parking spot and the sand beach is very children's friendly - 34 km from the house (35 minutes). Bathing is also very suitable in the lakes; Lac du St. Croix and Lac du Cassien, where you can find many sand beaches with shallow water with boat rentals, cycle boat rentals and windsurfing.
Wine Castles/Farms
In the area south of Callas there are many wine farms to visit and you can buy wine.
Gorges de Verdon
The French Grand Canyon. One of the most spectacular natural phenomenon in France with gorges, roaring rivers, lovely French villages and bathing lakes. This is a must!

For Children
Marineland and Aqualand in Antibes with great shows with dolphins, seals, turtle park, the palace and Oceanographic Museum in Monaco. The perfume city Grasse, where you can experience flower production for perfumes, The caves in De Saint Cézaire, lavender museum and much more.

Biking
If you are crazy about biking and you want to challenge yourself there are plenty of small hilly country roads, where traffic is limited.
Paragliding
In the area/mountain behind Bargemon (5 kilometres from the house) you can paraglide. There is a plain field for landing and the thermals in the area are just great.
Skiing
Isola2000 and Auron is 2 hours drive away from Villa La Boussaque. 45 minutes from Callas is a small but not snow secure area - Verdon Regional Parc.
